Biography

 

Rakiya is an honors undergraduate studying Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering (BBE). At the Toner Lab, she is researching the adsorption capacity of olive pomace for treating heavy-metal contaminated water, specifically aiming to maximize its regeneration efficiency across multiple use cycles.

Biography

 

Connor Buckley is an undergraduate student majoring in Environmental Sciences, Policy, and Management. He is currently working in the Mercury Lab on a project examining the impact of climate change on mercury in boreal peatlands. This research is supported by the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP).
