Cole Stenberg

Researcher, Mercury Lab Analyst

Cole Stenberg earned his undergraduate B.S. degree in Environmental Sciences, Policy & Management (ESPM) with minors in Soil Science and Water Science. Cole's primary research interests include Hydropedology and Redox Chemistry.  Cole is currently the lead Mercury Analyst in Professor Ed Nater's group.  Cole is co-supervised by Professor Brandy Toner on a multi-year study to determine how climate change factors (soil warming, air warming, and increased carbon dioxide) will affect mercury release from peatland soils to air and water in Minnesota.
